xbox360 & non-xbox wireless adapter
Is there a way to use a USB wireless adapter with the xbox360? I don't really want to spend $80-100 for the one from xbox. I have a Netgear WG111. The console completely ignores it.

Re: xbox360 & non-xbox wireless adapter
Hi DG_Florida and welcome to TSF,
Short answer is no. Just becasue with a USB wireless adapter you require drivers for it to function. There are currently no drivers that support Xbox360. (I suspect MS had a hand in it). But a USB adapter will cost around $50-$80 anyway. You might aswell go with the Xbox one so you know it works.

Re: xbox360 & non-xbox wireless adapter
As Aus_Karlos said, USB wireless no (unless specifically for the 360), but you can get one of those wireless adapters that plug to the back of the Xbox with a Cat 5 cable, those will work even if it's non-Microsoft (such as Linksys or Netgear, etc.). You can get the Microsoft equivalent from eBay for around $40-$50, it's called the MN-740 I think (off the top of my head).
