ripping dvds to softmodded xbox

Hey all, I have a friend who is trying to rip dvd's to his soft modded xbox, but there is a copyright protection on the DVD. Is there a way to bypass this or is there a program he can add to the dash to "unlock" the DVD. I know they make them for the PC. I use one so I can back up my DVD's.....im prone to getting them uber scratched up. Any help would be fantastic.

PS: I thought about ripping them to my pc first and then burning to a DVD-RW and then ripping them on my buddies xbox.

We cant help you here with that issue. Against rules, no hacking cracking
or pirating info here.
