questions regarding gameing health

hi guys i have a 24" widescreen tv
i am considering a HDTV later in the year
but i was wondering if HDTV is better of worse den SD TV
for your eyes

my guess is that HDTV has a bigger and clearer image then SD TV therefore it is is easier on the eyes in comprison to SD TV
as i wear glasses and my visison is pretty bad

General rule of thumb - the bigger the better :D

I'd have to agree - HD > SD

Re: questions regarding gameing health

im not looking for 1 now i cudnt afford 1 but i am considering 1 at the end of 2009 where hopefully some finances will improve
but until then i want to gather information about HD tv's so i dont get conned when i do get round to buying one

so with that being said whats a HDMI lol
also what is ideal contrast ration whats a crap contrast ration whats quality contrast ratio and whats a luxery contrast ration
i understand that contrast ratio is the Tv's ability to determine betweem different shades of a specific colour a low contrast ration TV wud merege different yet similar shades of red together decreasing overall detail displayed on the TV
id like 28" 1080p
do you guys have any specific models or makes in mind or know whch brand of HDTV shud b avoided and considered.

Re: questions regarding gameing health

HDMI is the connection like Component (red white and yellow wires) the HDMI connection kinda looks like a USB wire and brins in hi def video and audio

its the best connection you can get for watching hi def TV
there's a difference in the quality of HDMI wire you get too

ther's a lot of good brands out there but it depends on the spec of the TV as companies make cheapo TV 's and really good ones too

Samsung
LG
Panasonic
Sharp
Philips
ETC

it really depends on the individual TV the specs are super important for your buying decision
