Softmodded Xbox HELP!

Ok, so I had someone soft mod my xbox a few years ago and I just started messing around with it again and I messed something up. I went into one of the menus (the one that looked like the matrix) and it was asking what dash board I wanted to load up when I started up the xbox. It said something like hit Y for evo hit X XBMC and so on. I knew that I didn’t want to change the way that my xbox was set up so I hit the white button to cancel and my xbox rebooted and with no dashboard just the green xbox screen (pic on bottom)

I already have all my dashboards, pictures, videos, emulators, roms, etc on the hard drive. How can I fix my xbox without losing any of my stuff? How do I get my xbox back up and running with my dash board (think I was using evo)? I can’t do anything with the xbox now.

Can someone please help me out?
