Xbox 360 RROD, fixed and now getting 2 red lights

My xbox 360 has recently has got the RROD. I bought a clamp to fix it, i have installed it as it says on the website. When i power up the 360 the fans are going as normal it flashes with 3 red lights for 5seconds then goes to 2 red lights and the fans stop, ino this is overheating. I have double checked all the connections and cant find anything wrong.
Has anyone come across this problem or have any idea how to fix it?
