I can only play 1 game an hour on xboxlive

Hello all,

For a year or so I have not been able to play on xbox live because of lagging (totaly freezing) games. I posted a thread here for help, and the conclusion was that my modem was bad.
Now I have a new one (linksys WRT54GR) but now I have a new problem:

The lagging is totally gone, but now, I can only play 1 game. What I mean is that for instance when I put in halo 3.. I can get into a game.. I can play it lag-free till the end. But.. I cant join a new game. It simply wont find any to put me in.

If I had been playing Call of Duty 3, I would again play 1 game.. and then... cant join a new one. When I search for games.. it will show them with all the info (players in the game, map, gametype etc). But when I click to join... it says 'couldnt connect to game host'.

When I go back to my dashboard... It will not be loaded. If I disconnect from live, all is normall. But when i connect, the connection screen disappears after 3 sec (as normal).. but then... where normally would be shown the dasboard... I see the xbox-loading-logo, as if it is trying to connect to live again.

I do see the logo pop up when a friend comes online...and I can send him a message. Also ...they see me as online. Yet.. my dashboard wont load (again it will load when i disconnect live). And I cant join games.

When I test the live connection in the system tab (the only tab my dashboard DOES load).. it says all is fine... (NAT is open).

All I can do is wait... and eventually... I can join 1 game again. Before I can play a game... there is 'another stage'.. in wich call of duty will let me in the game... but instantly says 'game is no longer available' when I'm in.


I have no clue what the problem could be here... I have no lag... my connection is fine... I can see the games... my NAT is open... and yet I can only play 1 game


Please help me figure this out
