PSP Problems

My psp has only a black screen and the power light is on which just stays on. Also, it takes 3 times as long to turn it off normally.

Someone plz help!

What is the firmware version that you have?
Is it custom firmware?
If your psp downgraded? better to use newest firmare.........

Your PSP is considered as Bricked when you turn on your PSP and you get a Blank Screen with Green Light On, then the Green Light goes Off after 20 - 30 Seconds, this is usually caused by:

# Take off battery or turn off your PSP during firmware Upgrade
# Take off battery or turn off your PSP during firmware Downgrade
# Run homebrew program which is Not Compatible with your current PSP firmware
# Install or using a software which is Not Compatible with your PSP firmware
# Modify or delete the file in your PSP Flash Memory (F1 or F0)

as long as you didnt modify your psp, SONY should be able and willing to help you... contact them (us.playstation.com) to see where you should send it or who to contact
