Wierd 360 Error

Hello, I'm having a problem with my Xbox 360 console and wasn't sure where to go so I settled here. Hopefully someone can help.
So I got home yesterday and went to play my 360. I plug it in and turn it on and I get this wierd error message that I had never seen before. One of the lights on the front of the Xbox is red (bottom right corner if that matters) and the error message says "System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support." in like 10 different languages. At the bottom there is a code which is E74.
I went to the Xbox customer support site to try and find out what is wrong and found a couple links to what I was hoping was a solution, but they ended in errors with their site. So I kept searching around and finally found something useful. It described my exact problem and had a few steps to try and fix the problem which included unplugging all the cables/hard drives/memory components/accessories and trying again. Well none of that worked so I decided to ask their customer support what to do but everything I try ends in an error with their website. The only thing I haven't tried is calling in, but I figured I should ask here before I do that in case it's a simple fix that I'm just not seeing.
Anyways, yeah. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
