Connecting Xbox 360 to PC/Monitor
Alright I purchased an HP Pavilion Elite m9250f a few months back, with an HP w2207h monitor alongside.
My PC has VGA input (and output for that matter) and an S-video input in its front, assumedly for connecting devices such as DVD players and whatnot to my computer. I am wondering then, why exactly I cannot run my 360 through my monitor or even access anything I plug into my VGA input no matter what I do. I was wondering if there was any specific way for me to hook up my 360 and play it through my monitor without having to purchase some $40~ adapter just to hook up directly to my monitor. If I have the correct inputs, why can't I access the devices I hook up through them, and thus use these devices in conjunction with my PC, using my monitor for an interface? Why include the inputs if I can't even use them? |
