I just recently got an xbox 360 with the plug and play package. When the controller dies, I plug it in to recharge, but if I restart the system it says the controller is fully charged no matter what, even when there is no way it could possibly be fully charged. For example, I plugged in the controller for about 10 minutes and then turned off the system. When I turned the system back on later it said it was fully charged, even though it was only really charging for about 10 min. Of course, when I unplugged the controller, it died in about a day, whereas the original full charge lasted about a week. I have been told that I could have a faulty recharging cable by a GameStop employee... is this right, or could it be something else?
