PS3 Help

Yo, My playstation 3 isn't working correctly.
I can put in games, and I can play them, but whenever I try to load something(saved game file) it takes me to the load screen like it's suppoed to. The problem is i can move the selector to what file i want to load, but my X button and O button don't work. I've tried pushing the PS button and that works and takes me to the screen where I can select to turn the system off, but I can't use X or O eather, so I have to shut down the system manually. Any ideas how to help?

Hi Jimmy, welcome to TSF.

1. Do you try and load the games from within the game itself, or by going through Game Data?

2. Do the X and O buttons work outside this scenario?

yeah, thats when it gets stuck. I haven't tried to load from the game data, only from within the game.

and regularly the X and O buttons work fine. Just when I try to load is when they free up

And it happens with all your games?

yes, every one.

i don't know if its my controler, dis-syncing itself, or if my playstation just won't accept the comands or what

Or it might be corrupt save files

Let's hope not.

Can you start a new game, save it into a different slot, then load that?
