Xbox / Turtle Beach x1 audio problem

Hello,

I just bought a new HDTV and TB x1 headset. I hooked it all up and everything works fine, except the headset. As most of you know the headset is powered by the USB in your xbox. Well, the thing is, im getting the sound in my headset from my USB in my xbox and not through my tv.

I can actually unplug the RCA from the back of my tv and just have the TB splitter connected to the xbox audio RCA and it will play through my headset... Nothing even comes through the tv.

Now even with this happening the right audio is amazing and im guessing working as it should. But, the left audio, i can barely hear it if i crank the puck to max.

Summary:
I have the x1 L / R splitters connected to my tv, then my Xbox L / R audios connecting to them and running to my Xbox. Its all hooked up correctly but for some reason my sound is coming out of my xbox and not through my tv. The problem with this is that i am getting no sound through the left muff of my headset.

Yes. I am sure the sound is coming from my xbox since i DC'd the audio cables from the back of my tv and was still getting sound.
Yes. I checked over 5x to see if i had the cables plugged in right.

Please anyone have any answers feel free to post.
