NAT help
I'm sorry...I know this topic has been beat to death but I don't understand anyone's explanations of solutions.
When I play on xbox live (Halo 3 specifically), I can't chat with certain people or join parties. A thing pops up that says I have an open NAT, but I'm pretty sure it isn't. I think my router has the open NAT, but the modem must be strict. I use AT&T DSL with a Westell Modem Model C90-610030 and a Linksys Wireless-G router Model WRT54G. I tried finding help by reading through forums and by calling AT&T, but couldn't figure anything out. AT&T was obviously no help considering their horrible customer service... I'm not very computer smart and only know basics. Can anyone help me open the NAT on my router? I apologize again if I'm posting in the wrong place or starting up a topic I shouldn't be... Thanks in advance, Heather |
