DScaler Recording Problem
I have DScaler trying to record PS3/PS2 gameplay, but when I try to record, I get an error message saying:
"An error occurred while initializing the waveIn device: The waveIn device could not be opened." But I have audio coming from the device. The program will not record because of this error. Any suggestions? Thanks. -Brian |

Re: DScaler Recording Problem
Lastly, if this helps, WinTV will also not allow me to record! I keep getting this error:
![]() Why am I doomed to a life of not being able to record! lol But seriously, this is annoying. I bought this capture device yesterday: http://www.radioshack.com/search/ind...v%20tuner&sr=1 Nothing seems to work with it...not even the PVR software that came with it, which is WinTV 2000...which is also giving me the same error as the above WinTV 6. |

Re: DScaler Recording Problem
Keep searching for the correct drivers. The driver is what knows what to do with the data from whatever is plugged into the device. If you cant find a driver that works then there might not be one to support the data stream from the console.
