PS3 Graphics problems

HI all,

I am having problems with my PS3 on my new Bravia.
Whenever I start a game I have graphics troubles, and green lines flicker all over the screen - other times I cannot see the game at all because there are random shapes all over the screen...

I have tried DVD and BD - however the whole screen flickers different colours constantly and I caanot see anything at all.

I have tried eveything on the supplied component cables, and HDMI - but they all have the same problem which makes me think it is a graphics card issue.

Just wondering if anyone knows what would be causing this - it is a brand new PS3. Do Sony have a good warranty service on PS3's?

Hi Dan.

If it is a brand new console, it'd probably be best to give Sony a call. They'll run through some troubleshooting steps with you and if the problem doesn't go away, will get you to send the console back to them.

I haven't heard of a bad experience with Sony regarding a warranty claim.
