PS2 will not read disc

I just used my PS2 a few days ago and today every disc and dvd placed into it goes to the browser/sysyem config screen. I am not even able to get to the main menu.

Hello, welcome to TSF.

It could be that the laser is dirty or burnt out. Try cleaning it, if it does not work then it'll probably need to be replaced.
