GTA IV Xbox Live Problems
Hello
Everytime i try to connect to a ranked game or a player game hosted by anyone else it disconnects me. The game is Grand Theft Auto IV for xbox 360. When i try to connect it gives me an error message telling me its disconnected me. My xbox live settings seem ok and my NAT is set on Open. Help Appreciated |

This is typical. The Live network is being saturated so connecting and staying connected is difficult right now. Same thing happened when Halo 3 came out.

I'm suffering the same thing. I used to be able to connect to GTA games, now I usually get the message 'returning to single player'. When I do connect I sit there as host waiting for AGES for other players to join. NAT is open. Router ports are forwarded as per M$ and Rockstar recommendations.

To update. It seems config of my Thomson 585v7 router needed changing. I moved the Xbox into the DMZ and switched OFF port forwarding AND UPnP. Worked great after that.
