XBOX VGA Cable

I have purchased an VGA lead to connect my XBOX to my 19" TFT Monitor. EVerything is in firmly and connected but the background is all pink. You can see everything but everything is in pink. I have checked and tryed all the different resolutions but still no luck. anyone have any ideas?

Please, Someone must have some ideas? I just cant think of anything more what the problem could be.

not really sure. it may be because your monitor is not set up properly (color organization) or it can be that the cable has a problem. Really I do not know but try to either adjusting the color, the brightness, etc., if that does not work try to switch the cable. And if that does not work, then go to best buy's geek squad or some other company and ask them for help. But it all may be that the consoles video card may be fried or screwed up in a way. That is all I know if anything I will write again.

Have you tried plugging it into an older CRT monitor? If its still the same, then its a bad connection in the cable or its plugs.
