PS3 problems!
Hi, this is my first post on these forums, and it's most likely going to be rambling and long winded, but stick with me!:]
Basically, I got a PS3 in December (40GB), and I haven't encountered any problems at all. I keep it in good condition, and all my games are in perfect condition... However!! - I was playing COD4 today (which i've played for a couple months without any issues), then all of a sudden the sound cut out during my game...I reset the console and tried other discs and my music etc. and they all worked fine. For a short time the console wouldn't recognise the COD disc, but that seems to have fixed itself. So I've tried to play COD again and the multiplayer simply wont work...It either goes to a black screen after pressing "Play Online", or I can be sitting on a server in between games, and then when the game finally loads I'm stuck on the "awaiting connection" screen and it freezes the console!The single player works fine ![]() Anybody offer some help? Even if you're not COD experts, hopefully some of you have experienced something similar! Problem number 2 (sorry :P) - My PS3 bluetooth headset has just broken and, stupidly, I didn't keep the receipt. I've got a PC plug and play headset which can be used eithe rUSB or by the standard input connections. The console only recognises the mic, and not the actual headphones...should i try set it up through the TV as apposed to the console? sorry for rambling on!! |

Re: PS3 problems!
Is the COD4 disk scratched. Also the PS3 stores game data on the HDD, look under where the saved games are and you will see a folder called "Game Data". delete the COD4 data and run the game again.

Re: PS3 problems!
There is something wrong with my AV Multi Out sockect or something. It's not the AV Cord. I tried it on two different tvs and it the same result. Is there something wrong and what can I do to fix it?

Re: PS3 problems!
@jaz490
Get the latest PS3 firmware 2.30. This may fix some issue. Or make sure you have the latest COd4 patch.
