Click start and in the search box type "services" (no quotes), click on the services link, in the services dialog box scroll down to "Windows Media Player" right click, left click on the "Properties" tab, set the "Startup Type" to "Automatic (Delayed Start)" click apply, close all open windows and restart the computer.
