Online gaming - PLAYSTATION 3
Well, I have my PS3 manually (and wireless) connected to my Linksys WRT54G.v4 router, and I went to the Network Settings in my PS3 and everything passed the network test.
Regardless of that, I seem to have a problem playing games online. Things like Burnout Paradise, Puzzle Fighter II HD Remix, Lost Planet, etc, always disconnect from the server and kick me out of the online match. I have no other devices connected to the router except for the PS3, so the only process going on is the PS3 and the game. I have no idea why this is happening, and I'm pretty certain no one else is going through this crap. Anyone want to help me? |

Re: Online gaming - PLAYSTATION 3
I just did that and it's still booting me off. For example, I can get into an online match in Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and within 3 seconds after the game starts, it kicks me out saying it's a Network Error.

Re: Online gaming - PLAYSTATION 3
Then I think it could be a network problem. Try/answer these:
1. Is your internet connection at least 512 kbps? 2. Have you got a bluetooth headset/headphone connected to your ps3? (If so, try disconnecting it and trying again) 3. Call your ISP up and check with them that it isn't a fault on their end 4. Did online gaming ever work for you? 5. Is there a code the error message gives you?
