LCD Monitor not displaying 480p (For Nintendo Wii)
Today, an accessory that I bought for my Wii arrived in the mail. This accessory, known as the XCM 1080p VGA box, allows me to plug in a computer TFT LCD monitor or CRT monitor into it, and connect a Wii via Component or Composite in order to get an image. This is a link to the VGA box.
Now, my problem? Well. I can't seem to get it to shown an image on my LCD Monitor. My LCD Monitor is a 19 inch Hanns-g monitor. (Linked right here) At first, there was no image. I then went to my TV, and hooked up the Wii to there. I then had to navigate with my TV, and switch the connection to the monitor when I got to the screen display (The choices were 480i (Standard TV) or 480p (HDTV or EDTV). I chose that 480p after I switched in the blankness of my monitor because the option was not available unless connected in that manner. Although to my disappointed, it would still not display on my LCD. I then tried my 17 inch eView CRT monitor in which it works fine, but it is not what I want it on. To note though, before I switch the video display, the power button was dimmed orange saying no signal. After switching, it is not green, but it says "Out of range" (The same exact way 1080i shows if selected on the VGA BOX). EDIT : Adding Information H. Frequency: 63.92 kHz V. Frequency: 59.96 Pixel Clock : 108.03 MHz Resolution : 1280x1024 Model Number : JC199D Don't know if this will help or not, but I'm rather desperate. This VGA box wasn't cheap and finding it useless with my current monitor would prove quite disappointing. Does anyone know how I can solve my problem? |
