Ironic Xbox 360 music problem.

Hello.

My mp3 player (A Rio Nitrus) cannot be read on an XBox 360 console. My friend brought his mp3 player and hooked it up with the same cable I used, and it works fine. The funny thing is, my mp3 player IS the one featured in the XBox 360 manual, under hooking up your mp3 player. Is it uncompatible and just a silly mistake on Microsoft's part?

Thanks,
Goomba.

Is it flash or HDD based? Sometimes those HDD ones have compatibility issues.

I'd say it's HDD based, if you're talking about what I'm thinking of.

Here's a picture of the MP3 player:

Re: Ironic Xbox 360 music problem.

Oh well, I just thought it was funny that it was the mp3 player featured in the booklet.

Thanks for the help, though. :)

You could try some of the things here, but their advice seems pretty weak.
