Hey
Im getting dominated on halo 3
anyone have any tips or tricks?
it would be most appericiated

Throw gernades alot, weaken with the gun and finish with melee

The bullet barrage + melee is probably the most effective tactic I've ever seen in that game.

A plasma/impact weapon combo tends to be good. Like Plasma Rifle/SMG dual combo.

Plus aim for the head - armour tends to be weaker there

Use a battle rifle, play with friends and communicate. Designate call-outs on the map to relay information to your friends. If your playing alone, then just do your best to be aware. If you can get your hands on a Battle Rifle, then remember to lead your shots. Keep your surroundings in mind and weapon match ups. Sure you probably won't out long range a sniper, but against an Assault Rifle, Shotgun, Sword, Hammer, and any Dual Wielding Weapon. Keep in mind that you have an advantage if you maintain a good distance from them. Rockets only have 2 shots before reload, if you see someone with them and you have either something that can take the damage for you (get around a wall or what not) or if you have something you can use to jump higher than normal so you won't get killed by the splash damage then do it. I personally prefer to play MLG Halo 3, try playing with them in custom game types. There are some people from the community that give others a bad reputation, but what online community doesn't have their village idiots. My gamertag is ii Azur3 ii, if its in Matchmaking or playing with Dr. Ify then my little brother is on. If that tag is in a custom game and not with Dr. Ify, then it is most likely myself.
