Can xbox be connected to my Samsung 220wm? Can I play online that way?

You want that. It plugs into the regular AV output and plugs into a VGA connector on your monitor. It supports 640x480, 800x600, 1280x720, 1280x768, 1280x1024, 1366x768, and 1920x1080 resolutions. One thing to note is that the picture from DVDs will not stretch to fit a widescreen resolution for some reason. There may be a way around that; it doesn't bug me too much so I haven't really bothered looking.

Yes you can play online that way, but you will still need an active internet connection connected to your 'box'.

When using the HD-DVD drive the 360 will upscale to 1080p over VGA connections.

Dont buy old xbox's, microsoft stated that ones made before this last summer were destend to fail because of a manufacturing error
