Xbox 360 Guitar Hero Issue

"I have the USB White Gibson Guitar for GHIII. My little brother was in the middle of a game, when he felt a shock in his leg, and the strummer stopped working. The all the buttons work, but the strummer is completely unresponsive and the D-Pad is tempermental. I have tried un-and replugging it in, plugging into different ports, restarting the game, and restarting the system, but nothing has worked. Anything we can do?"

I submitted this to Activision, but it's so much nicer to come here.

Please note that this is the USB guitar, NOT the wireless one. My little bro (same one with the Ipod problem) is begging me to get this fixed, so I told him I'd submit it here.

Did you buy it brand new or pre-owned? it sounds like its had it, and will probably have to get it repaired somewhere.

Don't take this for gospel though.

We got it brand new for Christmas, and haven't had any trouble with it until now.

Well if it's brand new take it back, it should be under warranty.

Only problem there is things got a bit...hectic after christmas, and I'm not sure If my parents still have the receipt. I guess I'll check with them though
