Ok so ill be playing a game or just sitting on the xbox dashboard after about 10-20 minutes of play ill get a disconnect most of the time with the little ethernet cable being unplugged but i have tried a different cable and it did the same...i have run the test many many many times and everything is fine NAT is open and everything is confirmed... i have a WGPS606 Netgear wireless router... some guy at best buy said he was having the same problem and it worked fine since he got this... not for me... i have even gone directly into my modem which is a SB5101 SURFboard Cable Modem from Motorola I have no idea what it could be... and it is getting EXTREMELY annoyingany light on this situation would be appreciated p.s sorry for the grammar

Your model of router has NOT been given approval as a supported device so performance will be spotty at best.
This link has more information regarding using an XBox with Netgear routers.

I mean what service provider do you use? For isntance, I use Road Runner from Time Warner.

I looked through their help and support pages and didn't find anything about gaming. I suggest you give them a call and see if they do any sort of port blocking.

no they do not do any sort of port blocking and they ran a test on my modem and everything checked out however ive had like i think he said 6100 attempts of conenction with my router.... after like 16 hours? but like i said i had it directly connected to the modem but he double checked everything and everything was crystal
