Evil Random Xbox Disconnect

Ok so ill be playing a game or just sitting on the xbox dashboard after about 10-20 minutes of play ill get a disconnect most of the time with the little ethernet cable being unplugged but i have tried a different cable and it did the same...

i have run the test many many many times and everything is fine NAT is open and everything is confirmed...

i have a WGPS606 Netgear wireless router... some guy at best buy said he was having the same problem and it worked fine since he got this... not for me... i have even gone directly into my modem which is a SB5101 SURFboard Cable Modem from Motorola

I have no idea what it could be... and it is getting EXTREMELY annoying

any light on this situation would be appreciated

p.s sorry for the grammar

Re: Random Xbox Disconnect

Your model of router has NOT been given approval as a supported device so performance will be spotty at best.

This link has more information regarding using an XBox with Netgear routers.

Re: Random Xbox Disconnect

I looked through their help and support pages and didn't find anything about gaming. I suggest you give them a call and see if they do any sort of port blocking.
