Xbox 360 MTU Test Failed...Help

My xbox was working fine (with live) then all of a sudden it disconnected...i tested the connection and it said i failed the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) test...i need to know how to change this with a Netgear WGR614v6 router.
I have tried hooking my xbox up directly to my modem but it failed one of the tests...please help

I had the same problem at my apartment. After threatening a few tech guys I found out it was actually the ISP that was the problem. I don't know if it is the same in your case, but if it didn't work hooked right up to the modem, it sounds like an ISP issue.

I probably should have mentioned this but my computer works hooked up to the router...but my xbox doesnt...
