xbox 360 controller

well i got an xbox 360 and 2 pads- a wired and wireless one
so i thought about trying out the wired one on the pc
i pluged it in dowloaded the drivers and turned on fifa 08:p
when i go into a match and it says to select sides there are 2 controllers and i control 2 players with one pad
could you please help me??

i have a pc using an xbox 360 controller and it works fine on mine. was playing res evil 4 and tomb raiders works great.i never downloaded drivers but service pack two was enough not sure what you can do.

where did you download the service pack??
it is not an Xbox 360 controller for windows
its just a wired xbox 360 controller

its a normal xbox 360 controller didnt have to do anything service pack two picked it up fine .try www.instructables.com they might be able to help k.

i downloaded it but when i go to install it says that my operative system language is different from the instalation language
my operative system is polish
anyone got the service pack 2 for it??

downloaded and installed service pack 2 but still instead of one cotroller it is 2
plz someone help me as ive been waiting for a week

sorry your having so much hazzle i dont understand its picking up as two.if i was you i would go to start menu then programs then system tools then system restore. i would restore pc as far back as you could. then put servive pack two on then try xbox 360 pad. did you look at that link i gave you. ill keeps me eyes on this and hopefully sort it out. when you put a game on pc does the controller not work or does it slightly work.

it works on fifa 08 but it picks it up as 2 pads so im controlling 2 players

are you sure you have the settings in fifa 08 right and have you tried looking at start,control panel,printers and other hardware and just check what settings you have with your joypad. maybe a restore will help but just try this 1st.

reds you have two con showing when you start game did you try moving the joypad lef and see if it leaves one joypad to play fifa and have you tried it on another game.

i have tried it only on fifa as its the only game i need it for

click start,then settings,then control panel,then printers and other hardware,then game controllers,and remove game controller and see if that helps. if it does not keep going back to game controller and mess about the answer is there k
