360 won't read disc

Console has not ben move but if you put any game in get msg that says open try. Call tech support no help was told warrant expired 10 days ago.

What color are the lights on the frount and how many are lit. Those light tell you somthing about the console

All the lights are on and they are green. Occassionally when I put a dvd in it will read it but have not gotten it to read a game

did you bring up the fact that they expanded warrenty to 3 years because all systems made before the summer of 2007 will have a way higher chance to fail because of a manufacturing error

Yes i did was told this failure was not covered by the three year warranty

Yeah i think that only covers the 3 red lights, nothing else.
