New Ps3 Problem

ok so im pretty new to this forum but thats not the case, the case is i was playing the world series of poker game and then i shut off the console while it was saving and i know that it corrupts my data and what not but anyways when i turned the ps3 back on it says hardware database needs to be rebuilt and only gives you an OK option to choose, so i press it and it goes to 0pct and then just crashes and shuts off and i cant reformat nor even log in to go to any settings or anything when i turn the ps3 on it justs ask for the hardware database thing and crashes, any help ill be glad to hear you can even email if you like omgitzmatt@yahoo.com thanx

Hey Matt, Welcome to TSF.

Try holding the power button for 5 seconds, then releasing it (release after the second beep)

If that doesn't work, try this (last resort)

hey thanx jack sparrow lol to be the only 1 to reply out of 20 views from people and give me some info, ima look into those now to see if anything helps, if not im just going to call the company and see what they want me to do, prob most likely going to have to mail it to them for the ps3 guys to fix, but its not my problem my ps3 is fine im not dumb enough to do this lol it was my friend he was a bit wrecked...
