PS3 COD4 Lag - IS KILLING ME

Team,

I am getting SLAUGHTERED online with alarming frequency, I pump guys full of hot lead and they turn around and drop me with two pops.

The Kill-Cam shows me either not firing or shooting behind their movements.

I live in Belgium, have a Nat 1 connection and a wired connection, would like some advice to fix this issue, my assumption is that there is a split second lag...

If you have a computer that's also on the same line you can do a ping test. I also suggest visiting www.dslreports.com and getting a basic speed test done.

How do I perform a ping test and what shall I look for?

Actually there are two different PCs connected to this, maybe they are causing the lag, next time I will disconnect them just to be safe as well.

Ping test showed that I has between 138 and 160 and the download was up to 320ps and 100ps upload.

Not sure how that stacks up..

In short it means you have a very slow line.

Thanks for the help.

Disconnecting the other 2 PCs from my wireless which really helped to reduce this situation.

I will upgrade my ADSL based on the test.
