XBOX 360 Audio Problem connected to Projector
Here is my problem: I cannot get sound
This is what I have: Optoma EP 716 Projector TruTech DVD and Surround Sound XBOX 360 I currently have my DVD/Surround Sound system connected to my projector through the video port. I get sound and picture just fine with my DVD player. My problem is that I don't get audio when I connect my SVGA HD cord from my XBOX to the projector. My question is, will I get sound if I connect a RCA Type Audio Extension Interconnecter from the SVGA HD cord to the DVD/Surround sound? Or, do I need something else. Also, if I am able to get sound will I be able to use wireless or cord headphones. That way I can keep the sound down when the wife and kids go to bed. Does this make sense? I don't really know what I am doing. thanks, Kevin |

Re: XBOX 360 Audio Problem connected to Projector
If you can get an adapter that allows for RCA->phono then you can plug that directly into the projector. If it were me I'd connect everything through a home theater system and then run a/v cables to the projector.
