problems with xbox

I just got X-Men: Next Dimension and it will not play in my Xbox. Signs have been showing that something was wrong a while ago but I thought it was just the disc. Now, I believe it is the Xbox that is malfunctioning. The lens isn't dirty or anything to my knowledge because I have a lens cleaning disc and it didn't work. Any ideas?

What format is the movie? DVD, HD-DVD, Divx file. Maybe its just a format not supported by the xbox itself.

Try sticking some other discs in the xbox, this will tell you whether it is infact the console problem or a disc problem.

ok my xbox quit playing games but plays music.........what do i do to fix this?
