Is Xbox Live this bad?

I am using the wireless network adapter with a Netgear WPN824 router. Im really getting sick of the major delays on xbox live. Is it me? Any game I play there is about a 2 second delay before my shots register. It feels like Im playing in a 200 ping server non-stop. So is xbox live really this laggy?I have my ports forwarded also. I am using a 5mb/s connection.

No, some games have no lagg whatsoever, but it depends on the game your playing and the internet speed of the host as well as yourself.

I've had no lag issues with Halo 2. The only gripe I have is the voice quality with the headsets.

Yeah I hear voice quality this gen it pretty bad, no bandwidth for it.
