PS2 Just Stopped Playing Burned DVDS!!!

Ok so i just moved into my apt. for college and i left my PS2 on the window sill and it rained and the back got a little wet...not sure if this is what caused my problem but now my PS2 will not play burned dvd's & it used to play all of my burned dvd's....it will still play PS2 Games as well as normal store bought dvds but my collection of bootleg dvds will not play correctly...either it says no data on disk or it loads the dvd menu all black with just the backround music...

anybody please help?!?!

Thanks, Nick
