Windows Media Center

I have folder on my laptop where I keep all my videos. How can I share it so that I'll be able to access it on my xbox 360 through the media center? I've tried enabling "shared" on the folder itself but I can't see the folder on the xbox 360. Any ideas?

Re: Windows Media Center

Are you wireless or wired? It is much easier if you can possibly wire your media centre into your xbox 360. However, if you are on a network it is also possible to do.

Re: Windows Media Center

My laptop is wireless and the 360 is wired. I can get my music and photos fine but the video's I can't seem to get going. There is a folder on my laptop that my 360 does recognize, however, that means I'll have to copy all my video files to that folder. I'm trying to avoid that.

Re: Windows Media Center

I think that your videos have to be in your "My Videos" folder.
