The stock one...they wouldn't have put it in there if it would damage it....

Re: Xbox 360 cooling fan

I've felt the back of my console after just 90 minutes of play and it was very hot. Where can I find a good fan for under $20.

Re: Xbox 360 cooling fan

The xbox does get very hot but if its not shutting down or freezing it is not getting hurt.

Re: Xbox 360 cooling fan

Mine blows out plenty of heat as well but it's supposed to. Modding it with other fans disrupts the original intent of the entire cooling system and can cause more problems than it it were left alone.

Re: Xbox 360 cooling fan

O.K. but since my computer is in a hot room (room temperature 90-95F) would a simple desktop fan help at all or would it hurt?

Re: Xbox 360 cooling fan

You can if you are worried by a innercooler those go on the outside. There are many different brands but if the room is that hot it wont help becuase you would just blow even more hot air back into the system.

Re: Xbox 360 cooling fan

If the room itself is hot then there's not much you can do short of rebuilding the cooler.

Re: Xbox 360 cooling fan

I had an intercooler, it was noisy at times. It helped though. Just be sure the xbox is in an open area so the fan can blow freely.
