Xbox 360 - HDTV 1080i support (as well as other res., 480,720)
Hello,
Today when I turned on my Xbox 360 to play the game Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, I noticed flickering horizontal red lines on my HDTV when there was a lot of action (or when the frame rate was high and my character was moving). Confused at what I saw, I decided to re-connect the HDTV AV (red, green and blue) cables to my HDTV. This was done in vain though because when I turned on the Xbox 360 and began playing, I still saw the same red horizontal lines. Therefore, I went into the Xbox 360 console settings and then display, and then found out that the av connector for the Xbox 360 switch was set to TV (basically, the Xbox 360 was being played on TV settings through HDTV AV cables). Thinking that this was the problem, I then just switched it to HDTV and I then saw the 1080i resolution being set. I played again and still saw those same flickering lines. Other things I tried was re-connecting the av cable for the Xbox 360, re-connecting the power supply, and changing the HDTV resolutions. Does anyone know how I may fix this flickering problem? Has anyone even encountered such a problem?Thank you very much for you help. SSVegeta184 Last edited by SSVegeta184; 06-10-2007 at 04:21 PM. |
