Swap Magic 3.6 DVD Problem

Problem:
i recently purchased swap magic 3.6 a few weeks ago and im now having trouble with the dvd boot disc. the boot dvd loads up just fine but when i swap the boot disc with a back up copy of my ps2 game, 3 things either happen:

1. the screen goes black
2. "not a valid ps2 disc" appears on the swap screen
3. it returns to the memory card/ disc load screen

More Information:
My back up dvds worked before with no issues at all and those 3 problems just started happening about two days ago.
I have no problems with the cd version it loads up and boots just fine.
My original ps2 dvds loads up perfectly.

PS2 information:
FAT Style
Model # scph-50001
Version 9

BTW:
before i posted this thread i tried again to play my back up ps2 game and it worked. i played for 5 minutes and changed back up games to see if all the others worked too but unfortunately it went back to having them usual problems.

TSF does not support game "backups" as that is a violation of copyright.

No wonder when I selected "Close Thread" it reported "Thread has been opened" ... You beat me to it ...
