Connecting to Xbox Live
Ok, I have an original Xbox and I want to hook it up to Live. The problem is that my router is screwed up, so I can't plug it directly in. So I want to try and run a cable between my Xbox and my computer, which has wireless internet. I have a crossover cable and was just wondering exactly how to do it. I think it has something to do with ICS, just need someone to walk me through it.

Re: Connecting to Xbox Live
Hi,
What you need to do is bridge the wireless connection to the network card where the crossover cable is pluged into, You need to press Control/ctrl and click on the wireless connecton and the network card where the cross over cable is plugged into and then rightclick on either one while hightlighted and go to brigde connection and let it finish and that should be it. The connection will run to your xbox. if you have any problems just messege back, Jay. |

Re: Connecting to Xbox Live
Thats okay, No Problem. Just remember that the origional Xbox takes up more Internet connection. So it may cause your computers internet to slow down.
I dont want to point the obvious but your computer will have to be turned on when you want to go on xbox live. Have a nice Day
