When I play my ps2, it runs for about 10-15mins before the screen goes blank (black screen) to wear my tv shows the word "video 3". I opened it up and cleaned the lens and that is not the problem. Wondering what else it could or what can I do to fix this?

Re: old PS2 problem
I have a similar problem. I have bought my slim ps2 (pal version) a year and a half ago. It had been working fine until a week ago. When I've been playing for about 15 minutes, the screen starts to fill up with glitches. Eventually every character (while playing pes5) becomes black, the pitch moves around the screen and turns black and white. When I took out the cd, the same problem occured in the system configuration screen. Can this be solved, or is my ps2 ready to be replaced?

Re: old PS2 problem
Sorry I wasn't expecting a reply. My PS2 (slimversion) was almost a year and a half old. A bit too soon, according to me to break down so quickly. But the garanty only lasted for 1 year. So I can't replace it.
