xbox backwards compatible

I have the xbox 360 and recently got Tony Hawk Underground 2. It says that the disk is unreadable. How on earth do i get to play this game? Are there patches or something i need to download in order to play? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

The game should read unless it's damaged. If the game is not natively backwards compatible then a patch may be available.

You need to download and burn something from xbox.com, or your can download it off xbox live or have it sent to you so your xbox 360 can read your tony hawk game. When the 360 boots the game it'll ask to connect to XBox Live to get a patch. The patch will download, install, and then reboot the game.
