Xbox Live problems.
Here's the deal.
I have: Belkin Wireless Router, Model No. F5D7230-4 Xbox 360 50ft Ethernet Adapter Cord Modem PC using Windows XP The setup: The modem is hooked up to the wireless router (through a cord) and the wireless router is plugged into the back of the tower of the PC. My 360 is connected by a cord to the back of the wireless router. The problem: I cannot use XBOXLive and have my sister browse the internet at the same time. It's one or the other. And in Firefox, instead of saying the network is unplugged or something, it says the connection "timed out". I've tried: enabling DHCP using DMZ settings opening ports 88 and 3074 between TCP and UDP running different setups I have yet to try: UPnP (universal plug n play) Other problems: When I do get XBL to work, downloads do not work. I have to plug my 360 directly into the modem for that to work. Any fixes for that? Conclusion: I don't want to have get another router...and I can't plug my 360 directly into the back of the modem. Can anyone please help me? Will enabling UPnP definately solve this problem? Any other advice or tips? |
