xbox 360:oblivion

I have played it for 80+ hours and ever since that new patch every hit stumbles, for both me and monsters this i did not mind to much until, well just now i am cornered by a rat and cant attack (how pathetic) anyway is there a way to fix this?

can anyone help me this is annoying be cuse i want to buy the new expansion

Try clearing the patch; follow these directions:

go to memory then when you get to the hdd symbol press Y then press XX LB RB XX this clears all updates on your console and clears the cache.

....i can't do that the last update to halo 2 kills the mp maps and i dont want to have to download them again but is there away to do it to only that game?

try defragmenting the cache:

hold down the A button as the game is booting up. If any button is held while Oblivion is loading, it will clear its hard drive cache, and create a new one.
