psp memory cards

I hope that this is the correct place for this question. I wish to know what is the best size of memory for a psp. What difference does the memory size make? and what is the cheapest way of buying memory? I have seen on some web sites that you can buy an adapter for some memory cards. How does this work?

Cheers for any help

What do you want to use it for?? The more memory you have, the more data you can store on it.

Is the memory card just for saves in games? Does it have any other purpose, if so what? Sorry foe being vague but my son wishes to use it for game saves, and he also wishes to buy some films to watch on his psp, does the memory card size impact on watching films?

these memory cards are very expensive in the shops, i've seen 1GB cards for around 44 pounds, too much for me. I had a look on ebay and they were alot cheaper. I expected the memory cards for the psp to be for the psp only, but the cards on ebay said they would fit cameras aswell. is this so?

The PSP memory card stores data such as pictures, music, movies, games inc saves, and some system information.

I have a 2GB card in my PSP which I got off eBay and it works wonders. At the time, it was roughly £70 but they will be cheaper now.

It depends on what card you get whether it will fit cameras or not. Many listing have compatible products listed.
