Re: BSD due to different browsers

Hello,

Please take a look at the following thread and perform the requested steps.

Once you have all the reports please attach in your next post.

http://www.techsupportforum.com/for...ons-windows-8-windows-7-and-vista-452654.html

Your dumps indicate a possible problem with your network bandwidth monitor. NetWorx

Try uninstalling this utility to see if you still get the crashes.

Re: BSD due to different browsers

It generally helps to provide more information than you have. I am not able to specifically tell what programs you have installed since I do not have your full reports to work with. The full reports allow us to offer more in-depth troubleshooting steps.

What I can tell from your .dmp files: your system is a bit of a mess. You have TuneUp Utilities installed; I do not recommend 3rd party optimization software, especially if it includes registry cleaning. Such software can lead to Windows being unable to boot, damaged restore points, a damaged file system, damaged Windows files, damaged program files, corrupted registry and program installations, and eventually leads to the need to clean install Windows to fix the damage caused by the 3rd party "optimization" algorithms. I would recommend that you remove the software and avoid such software in the future. Hopefully it is not already too late.

In the future, if you need help optimizing Windows 7, please follow the steps to Optimize Windows 7 for better performance.

Crashes point to your Internet Download Manager software. Remove the software, and see if the system is more stable afterward; I have seen it cause crashes in the past.

I also see NetWorx and Symantec software involved. Do you have Norton Internet Security, Norton 360, or other Symantec software installed? If so, remove the appropriate software and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials to test. Also, remove NetWorx software.

I notice you have a lot of out of date software and drivers that were likely installed on a previous version of Windows. Did you upgrade a Windows 7 or Vista installation to install Windows 8?

Re: BSD due to different browsers

As different analyses unveiled there was a clash between three drivers including Networx : networx.sys internet download manager: idmwfp.sys and Symantec endpoint protection: symnets.sys

It seems that starting browsers whether chrome or firefox just triggered conflict between networx traffic filtering and other drivers. It has been reported to all three vendors.
Networx support provided following solution and I guess it solved the problem:
1. Backup your usage.
2. Uninstall NetWorx.
3. Reinstall NetWorx with the Install LAN traffic filtering driver Option unticked.
4. Install WinPCap if you need to filter out local traffic. Restart NetWorx and choose your network adapter marked "Ignore LAN traffic:"

now the problem seems to be solved and i consider your recommendation regarding to tuneup but regarding to your notice of my drivers i must note that my win 8 was a fresh installation not on my previous os but i used drivermax to backup and restore drivers of devices including wireless adapter, audio, lan and others. could you please specify which drivers are outdated? so i can update them.
thanks

Re: BSD due to different browsers

While the SevenForums reports are good, I would prefer to get the information we have asked for since it contains the full drivers list to help find outdated drivers and updates.

I would not recommend using 3rd party tools like DriverMax to update them. 3rd party tools do not always find the best drivers for a specific system's power schemes. They also can lead to the installation of buggy drivers or drivers that are not meant for your hardware but for similar hardware.

Update your drivers from the manufacturer of the PC or from the manufacturer of the device after determining what device it is using the VEN/DEV information. The below link is for XP steps, but Vista/7/8 have nearly identical steps.

Problem Devices:
Code:
Not Available	ROOT\STORLIB\0001	The drivers for this device are not installed.
The above device does not have drivers installed. I am unable to find much if any information about it through an internet search. You may need to contact HP support for help.

Outdated and Problematic Drivers:
You should update/replace/remove the following drivers. Any drivers that are known to cause BSODs, please remove the software or remove the drivers and then remove the device; steps to do so are given after the list of outdated drivers. If you have ASACPI.sys installed, make sure it is updated and not pre-2009; pre-2009 versions are known to cause BSODs:

Re: BSD due to different browsers

WinRing0x64.sys was used by batterycare app which was installed on my pc and it was updated to latest version! I uninstalled it.
Cyberlink and Symantec endpoint protection were also current version and I removed them, too.
i'm searching for other drivers update

Re: BSD due to different browsers

there is no more BSD, i uninstalled lots of rarely used apps including tuneup and some of outdated driver apps such as powerdvd, i also installed latest version of other outdated driver apps including intel and HP apps.
PC is now working nice and smooth specially firefox v22 x64 which is the best performing browser i ever used!
if you'd prefer i can send you files to check drivers again but i don't exactly which file should be sent!
thanks for follow up
