OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (SP1) and Ubuntu 12.10 [Dual-Boot]



I know that there are many video editors for Linux operating systems for free download (unlike with windows). Which of them is the best in your opinion?

From what I have read, Cinelerra appear to be the best; is it?

There's also handbrake and other software.
I dont do any video editing so cant comment on how they work.

While it's purpose is 3d rendering I know a lot of people use blender for video editing
