I purchased a MacBook Pro Model # MF839LL/A and when I use any form of Linux, either dual booted with OS X or even with a Live Key with Persistence, I cannot get the wifi to work.

I have Googled this endlessly, and the instructions are for Ubuntu, and I prefer to use Mint, PepperMint, Fedora, or anything but Ubuntu right now (lol).

I got it working once at the beginning of last year, but I am so terrible with the command line I cannot replicate what I did. :banghead::banghead:

Thanks in advance!:thumb:

Can you post the link you found for Ubuntu for your machine. Mint is based on Ubuntu so instructions may work.

However Mac is custom hardware so unless the following command returns something you are out of luck. From Mint open the terminal and type:

sudo lspci | grep -i net

You can copy and paste if you want.
