Sudden Shutdowns When Running Demanding Games

Hello, lately when I've been running demanding games on high settings (Skyrim, Minecraft) almost every time after a significant time playing, my system completely shuts down. I have checked the system temp after this numerous times and it was always running at normal temps. It's also probably important to know that I have to unplug my PC and plug it back in for it to start back up again. Interestingly enough, I can play games like Civ 4/5 for hours, yet big games like Skyrim just die on me. My computer is perfectly able to run these games on high settings, yet I can't even get Skyrim to work with ANY anti-aliasing (even without it still eventually shuts down). Signs are pointing to a possible PSU problem, but I'm no expert.

Specs:

Windows 7 64-bit
AMD Phenom II X6 1075t 3.0 ghz processor
GTX 470
PSU: 700w Part Specification
RAM: 4 GB

If any other info is needed, let me know. Thanks.

Use HwMonitor run it in the back ground, Alt+Tab back to it after playing for a bit lets see what the voltages and temps show.
It does sound like a PSU issue since you have to unplug it after a shut down to boot it again.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try that.
